Training Against the Age

Beloved warrior in Jesus, let us now turn once more to the most important training in our repertoire: prayer. Spiritual combat is what we are born to, and it is our prayer which enables us to fight back encroaching forces. In an age where technology seeks to replace the sacred and materialism threatens to drown out the voice of God, prayer is our direct link to the greatest power, in the spirit. Prayer is a means of aligning ourselves with the divine will and rejecting the false promises of a world that sees material transformations as transcendence.

Quiet Potential

Prayer, whether in quiet hours of meditation, whispered confessions alone, or supportive before a common meal, is an act of defiance against our arrogance and its grasps upon the current age. The soldier in Christ knows that the most glorious processor in all the universe resides within him: the Holy Spirit, who dwells in every believer and empowers us to overcome the forces of darkness. To neglect this gift is to squander the greatest power at our disposal. Yet too often we take it all for granted, failing to recognise the full extent of its potential.

The virtues of Courage, Willpower, and Loyalty are strengthened not through solitary efforts but through community, prayer, sacrifice, and love. When we gather as a community, bound by the shared purpose of spiritual warfare, our collective will becomes a fortress against the assaults of modernity. This is the essence of Resurrexit Spiritus phenomenology integrating the Structural Virtues into human experience: the triumph of universal order through the alignment of individual and communal faith. In this sacred act of prayer, as more sacred with greater constancy, we seek more than personal salvation, which was already granted upon entry into absolute trust. We seek the salvation of as many souls as possible.

The role of prayer in resisting persecution against Christians cannot be overstated. We must take care in how we operate, because, as soldiers in Jesus, we are most dangerous to their lies with truth as our weapon. Refuse to let the demonic elements in the world dictate the terms of our existence. The devil can only trick the truly faithful by changing definitions and making them think the new thing is superior without any evidence outside empty wording. In moments of trial, when the weight of doubt threatens to crush us, prayer becomes the anchor holding us steady and in place. It is through this original connection to God in Jesus, that we find strength, purpose, and the courage to stand against any forces that seek to diminish the spirit.

Embrace prayer not as advanced training in the battle for spiritual survival. The soldier in prayer of devotion, aligns himself with the very power that created the universe, and that is all goodness in our understanding and beyond. Let every word spoken then, not just in prayer, be a stone cast against confusion, and let every silence be a moment in gratitude for the boundless grace of God and in our ability to do better after basking in that superior reflection. With the trust we have, we can not be content in defending only our own souls, but also become instruments of divine love through our refinement, guiding others toward the truth that sets them on the path to true freedom: the ability to recognise and do good.
