The Ultimate Weapon Against Sin

Beloved in divine engagement, the weapon that cuts through sin, Truth, is spiritual combat reliant upon Courage and Willpower, as extensions of divine Loyalty. The most important defiance possible is against the forces that would lead us astray from this ultimate weapon. In the domain of Logos, where dialectical reasoning meets Eros, prayer becomes the bridge between the self and the divine, a practice that strengthens Willpower and sharpens the soul’s resolve for acquisition and sharing of Truth.

Truth is the sword that cuts through temptation, founded in the Willpower only possible through God, and which must be used in conjunction with Courage, our shield that guards against spiritual defeat. You will suffer for this, but it is your prerogative to come out whole and better for it. In Structural Virtues Theory (SVT), prayer and repentance strengthens Willpower most, enabling the soul to resist the pull of materialistic power and align itself with greater divine order. This is dialogue with the eternal, a practice that transforms each and every word into an act of faith.

Keep Asking: Keep Seeking

Remember the friend asking when most inconvenient (Luke 11:5–8), illustrating the necessity of perseverance in spiritual warfare. However we are not to ask for anything but spiritual bread, and for the good of others, as did the friend. Prayer is not about demanding what we want but about seeking after what is truly needed in honesty, perseverance, and with careful analysis, through which we find the truth, grace, and strength to endure to the end. Willpower, identical with God’s Truth and submission of our own wills, is the force that enables us to persist in prayer as seekers after ever greater correction, even when the path is difficult or the outcome uncertain.

In Resurrexit Spiritus, a free mind triumphant in Willpower is the ultimate state which remains a state in constant process and transition, a new permanent transient condition afforded us through God, in which the soul is no longer bound by the internalising limitations of the flesh, as prison, but aligned with the divine will. Each prayer is a step toward greater clarity, and therefore strength. The connection between Courage and Willpower in this context is clear: both are forces that enable the soul to stand firm against temptation and align itself with Truth. Prayer, then, becomes a means of seeking assistance in our primary concern: spiritual combat, in which weaknesses are transformed into strengths through our correction, and doubt into trust. God bless.
