Pray Everyday, Then Ceaselessly

Prayer is more than merely an action of supplication and sublimation, for it is a sacred dialogue between the immortal soul and its divine origins. In a world that celebrates busyness over stillness, prayer has become a relic of whispers lost in the darkness of modern life. Yet silence is not emptiness, nor is it nothingness; it is space for truthful decompression, revealing worthiness itself to those willing to listen.

However prayer is not about asking for things of mortal complication and escalating moving passions, but about becoming aware of what we already have with us at all times: the presence of divine love which binds us to it. Our failures are not permanent; they are part of a larger design, a divinely schematic journey toward understanding that cannot be rushed.

Prayer is an essential part of aligning ourselves and all our thoughts with the divine order. Even in our most painful moments, there is a purpose greater than ourselves. Prayer, far from being about escaping the world or our purposes in it, is about engaging with it more deeply than possible otherwise, with honesty and love.

Silence was replaced by noise, with stillness all but forgotten. The prison of distractions entraps the soul in its own worldly delusions, in material desire. Instead, embrace the practice of prayer. Prayer teaches us to value. Prayer and its stillness teach us to recognise that within every ignorant failure is a wisdom to cure said ignorance. In God’s incredible and everlasting goodness, we find gratitude for all things as decreed, if only we are willing to listen.

No goodness is simply ours, but something of God’s greatest creation, to be discovered through Christ. In the ultimate search for truth, in our desire for goodness, prayer becomes foundational to increasing the presence of this deepest yearning. Only through this deepest aspect of ourselves as lovingly designed can we understand the deeper meaning of creation: love itself. The soul is not meant to live in isolation; it is meant to find awe in wonderment through this ultimate light of divine love.
