Assumed Weakness Identity Undermines Community

Opposed to nationalism, though not necessarily apparent at first, are the entanglements of victimhood mentality as identity, what I identify as Victimentality in my first book Your Fight (https://YourFight.Club/read the club is Christianity). For while nationalism seeks to honour the natural states of man and our needs in organisation, victimhood as identity will eventually exploit those states and needs, twisting whatever truer and more permanent identities (especially eternal of course) into weapons of division and oppression.

Victimentality is a collective cancer that eats away at the individuals making up community from within their very connection to it. It thrives on differences and distinctions, on the false dichotomy between oppressor and oppressed, where one group’s gain is another’s loss in a zerosum game. This undermines the very foundations upon which healthy societies can be built.

Consider the dynamics in any given community with the delicate balances of give-and-take socially, the cooperation, and the mutual respect that allows us to support society. We often forget that it is not just that society supports our individual function, but the functioning of the individual which enables the operations of the society in the first place.

Victimentality disrupts this equilibrium within communities, turning neighbours into adversaries, friends into foes, and allies into enemies. It creates a zero-sum game where success for one means failure for another, in cycles of resentment, retribution, and endless strife.

Minority status allows certain groups to be granted privileges not on the basis of merit or contribution but on the grounds of perceived weakness. This is cancerous to society. It is perverse and precisely abusive to everyone else within the society, a reward for victimhood that only serves to deepen the chasm between us and harm our collective efforts. We grant them special protections and privileges based solely on their perceived vulnerability, not simply the amelioration of inequity but the enshrinement of it into permanence.

The result of all this victim worship? A society fractured along lines of meaningless distinctions instead of real meaningful and impactful differences. True harmony becomes impossible in this environment because the foundations upon which all of it rests are built upon lies and manipulations to maintain this mixed up and counter-productive energies sinkhole arrangement. This is not society any longer, but rather victimhood and weaknesses cults to death and entropy, which is sold as inevitable. This is the reversal of all reality in which weakness itself is given the starring role where virtue belongs, an insidious creed that can only divide and never unite for anything but further levels division and degradation.
