Channel God into Daily Life

Beloved of God, hello! Late post today, I apologise. Let’s dig in!

Ceaseless prayer, to be in constant communion through our closest connection with the divine, is practice that binds our actions into alignment with creation. Prayer aligns the self with God’s order, standing proof of trust, to remind the heart of its condition and rightful place. Action, place, and identity in God’s system as constant reflections and remembrance.

To pray is to stand at the threshold between our temporal and the eternal, between self and greatest other. It is dialogue transcending words in inspiration overflowing in goodness. Only in prayer can we ask and listen, reside on our error and gratitude for grace. We are children of a loving Father lost in the grand design without His anchor.

Ceaseless prayer urges us to consider our beliefs, behaviours, and actions with the greater gravity they deserve, in the larger aspects of their effect. Every moment is eternally unchangeable. We are guided toward truer morality, which is based in our trust or faith in God’s plans and our alignment with it. We do not pray to escape responsibility. We pray to own our responsibilities more actively in humility and clarity. The act of prayer is a compass, steering us away from the abyss of naked self-interest and toward our better virtues.

In sacred dialogue, we find multiple assurances, most important of these being that we will be focused on goodness, how we fail to live up to it, how we can improve, and we will be reminded of God’s love for us. God’s love is a living reality and the very breath underlying all of creation. To pray is to commune in Christ through the divine Holy Spirit within, and to let it fill us and stir our hearts with the truth that we are infinitely small and infinitely loved, yet so capable if we just have trust.
