As product of the Analysis aspect in Reason through the Propriety moment, the virtue of Excellence serves to identify and recognise what is genuinely excellent not only in others but also within ourselves. This virtue goes far beyond mere competence or abilities; it embodies a continuous and active commitment to improvement. Achieving true development in the skill of Excellence requires an internal sense of patience and calm quietude with the imperfect self, fostering a sincere willingness to nurture gradual growth as possible, rather than attempting to force immediate or premature outcomes. This deliberate and active cause in the process of improvement naturally leads to a deep and profound appreciation for the considerable time, effort, and dedication necessary to cultivate true greatness.
